Ibrahim Sabbi (I.B. RAH) - House/Chicago Footwork & Freestyle Movement
This freestyle-centered workshop draws from House and Chicago Footwork foundations, focusing on breaking down steps and grooves to create new variations while sharpening rhythmic phrasing and musicality. Through guided exploration and improvisation, dancers will deepen their understanding of foundational forms and expand their personal expression within them.
Ibrahim “RAH” Sabbi is a Chicago-based dancer, educator, performer, and choreographer with 14 years of professional experience. A BFA graduate in Dance, he’s trained in House, Chicago Footwork, Hip Hop, Umfundalai, contemporary, ballet, salsa and many other street dance forms—bringing a layered and rooted approach to every space he enters. Ibrahim has been a company member with Chicago Dance Crash, taught and performed across the U.S. and internationally, and is an active member of Creation Global and Jus.Be. Known for both his versatility and presence in battle circles, Ibrahim’s work bridges technique, tradition, and self-expression.
