A dance workshop with festival artist Tori Cristi (Whacking Los Angeles) for emerging, pre-professional, and professional movement artists to participate. Audiences and non-dancers are welcome to observe.

VICTORIA “TORI CRISTI” VILLAMIL is a queer Salvadoran-Filipina artist, choreographer, and director based in Los Angeles. She specializes in Whacking/Waacking and is the Director of Whacking Los Angeles (WLA). Her work spans multiple platforms including stage work, music collaborations, and immersive performance. Tori invites audiences into experiences that are both emotionally resonant and socially conscious while centering work that imagines new possibilities for collective liberation.
