This dynamic class blends the grounding, rhythmic, and culturally rooted movement of Umfundalai with the energy and freedom of House dance. Dancers will explore Africanist movement principles, polyrhythm, grounded footwork, and full-body expression while incorporating House grooves, footwork, and improvisation. The class invites dancers to connect rhythm, community, and individual expression through a movement practice that honors both tradition and contemporary dance culture.
