Emily Pyron is a senior who is graduating in May 2025. She majors in musical theater with a minor in Arts and Health Care. Emily moved here for school from Little Rock, Arkansas, with a love of big cities and art. She is an extrovert at heart and loves making friends. After graduating from Columbia, she plans to go to graduate school to become a Music Therapist. My goal is to help heal people (both physically and mentally) through music. She wants to go into the pediatrics field the most if she can. Emily said that this research project has been very insightful and has given her the helpful tools that she can use as she continues to further her career in art therapy as a music therapist.
