Patrice Gaitors made her West African dance debut with Minianka African Dance & Drum Ensemble. She worked under the direction of late great Naghree Sutton-Silas. Later she became one of the members of Ayodele Drum and Dance under the Artistic direction of Tosha "Ayo" Alston. Patrice became a principal dynamic performer with the company. As one of the company members, she took on an additional role as the Finance Manager.
